Meh.

The melody gets annoying. Real quick. The chord progressions aren't very good at all. Besides that, you called it "hardcore" in the title. A song isn't hardcore just because it goes really really fast and the melody goes absolutely everywhere. The melody isn't really that catchy, it's just crazy. That doesn't make it very attractive.

I will say that the sound of it is good, and it's blended well. It's just that the melody and chord progressions are below my standards for a house song.

MegaWatt-Man responds:

I don't think you know what "Happy Hardcore" is. I recommend you listen to some before you make a review like this. Happy Hardcore is much more different to house. Its just newgrounds doesn't have that as a tagging option. Please know what you are talking about before you jump to your own conclusions.

Awesome remix.

I can't tell if I like this or the original better. :3

This one is nice because it puts the vocals back in a normal range, making it sound smooth and sexy, instead of high pitched like a little girl.

The original, however, is better if you want a more hyper song to dance to. This one is more for like grooving to in your car. lol.

Anyway, excellent work. I'm going to put both of them on my next NG mix CD. :D

Could've been funny.

But you lacked the necessary talent. This is simply an annoying pile of repetitiveness.

Meh.

Nothing special. I realize that it's a loop and not a song, but that doesn't mean the melody has to be the same loop the whole time. How about a little more variation, a bridge perhaps. And I don't see how it could be a very good loop with that intro. Fade-ins and fade-outs are never good intros or ending when dealing with loops. Unless someone took the time to cut it so that it only plays that intro once, it would always sound like the song is being replayed instead of smoothly looping over and over. It should sound like one never-ending song, not one song being rewinded every minute and a half. It also cuts out too soon to be properly looped. The beginning and end need to be relatively the same so that they blend together when it repeats. Sorry, but this is no good for looping.

Catchy

Good use of sound effects from the actual game, such as the evil laughter and Link screaming. But I cracked up when I heard the Cuckoo sound. It was totally random and unexpected.

Great work on successfully transforming a classic LoZ song into an awesome techno/house/trance kind of thing. Especially considering that the song of storms is rather monotonous and annoying at a certain point, you turned it into a song I could listen to several times through and still enjoy it. I;ll try to remember to put this on my next NG mix CD.

Good work D-A-J, keep it up.

Epitome of EPIC.

I don't know any other way to describe it. This has got to be the best on NG. For some reason the music video I see for this is like a parade in hell. All the demons and skeletons marching and jumping around..... It looks awesome. Someone make a flash of that, lol.

Anyway, about this song. It's my favorite song ever on NG. It sounds 100x better in my car when I play the House mix CD I made a while back. There's just so much going on in the song, but the fact that it's so busy doesn't take away any of it's glory. Some people think that songs are better when they are simply, you know, less is more. This song completely crushes any of those ideas. And also, you didn't keep repeating the same melody over and over, you added several different stages then mixed them together. That's gotta be my favorite part about it. I hate house songs that have no originality and no change. This is the epitome of epic in every sense. Extraordinarily good work, keep it up.

Amazingly relaxing

I'll probably put this on my next NG mix CD. This is an epic blend of catchy and calming. I like how the two different sections of the song go together so well yet have different feelings. The synth part that you first here at 34 seconds gives a kind of upbeat, not quite hyper but happy feeling, while the part at 48 seconds feels much more relaxed. Great work, make more renditions. :D

Interesting

This is unlike most house songs I've heard before on NG. I love that fact that you didn't have it repeat the same beat and melody the whole time like most other artists do. There seems to be something new in every section of the song, but it all flows together, nothing sounds out of place. Keep at it, you're doing an extraordinary job of it.

I recently made a mix CD of some house from NG. I wish I had found this track before I made it. >.<

In my honest opinion...

The original starts out slowly and gradually builds. What you did here was start off with a beat that made no sense to me, and didn't actually get to the song you were remixing until after the first minute. I say get rid of the intro and the little effects, and just basically make a synth pad version of Canon in D. I just don't think this remix does the song justice. Also, make it a bit slower. You have it at what, a little over 120 beats per minute? Make that about 100 beats per minute, it would be better.

Good work though. All that above is my own opinion I guess.

Denn-C responds:

Yeah it is haha, it's called HOUSE, not hiphop, the beat is an intro beat.. but this shit is out of date, so w/e..

thanks anyway:P

I've been gone from newgrounds for too long. It brings me so much joy to know it's still the same. I love you all
