...lol

I'm not sure how serious you were being with the vocals in this one. As much as they add to the feel of the song, I felt like they were a little distracting and I couldn't help but laugh at them. ...ok I just heard the cough at the end, I don't think you're too serious with this anymore. lol. Other than that, the song itself is great. Nice rough sound, great balance. Great work.

Cool rhythm.

I love how the builds break before you expect them to. Adds a lot of funk to it. Sounds very jazzy and upbeat. I'm diggin it, great work.

Dude.

This is pure excellence. The sound you attained with those synths is incredible. That opening organ sound is so powerful. Is there electric guitar in there somewhere? It almost feels like it. And great job making it not too repetitive, that's one of the keys to making a good song in house music. Great work, I'm going to check out your other stuff.

Ockeroid responds:

Thanks !!

No guitars, just some very distorted low organ & synth notes :)

woah.

The sound you used at the break at 53 seconds was awesome. Was that a sample you found or a synth? Cuz if it was a synth, I must know what VST you used. O.O lol. This sounds awesome. I... admit, I don't know what that chocobo song is you were talkin bout.... But it's still a fun intro. haha. Great work, as usual. I'll try and get a good song of my own up soon. If I ever bother to actually write it.

KKSlider60 responds:

The Chocobo theme is from Final Fantasy, the whole series almost. The glitches that break just before the transitions are made by a preset instrument called "Glitch Generator". I can't make glitches myself yet, but it's pretty cinematic. I've added a bit of distortion, some panning, and there you have it.
Thanks Rob, was a pretty funny tune :D

very cool.

like the others below have said, it's very relaxing, but at the same time there's this underlying suspense that keeps my attention. There's also a lot in this that reminds me a lot of Pink Floyd, very psychodelic. haha. The percussion was also very well done, fitting to the piece and not overbearing. It all just blends so well together. Great work.

KKSlider60 responds:

I know it's sometimes quite spontaneous to find similarities between Pink Floyd and psychedelic, spacey music. :D And when it happens, it is a very good thing indeed.
Thank you bro ^^

good lord.

"Glooby's" voice made me want to shoot myself. hahaha that definitely made it annoying. But since that was the point I can't hate you for it. lol. Some points really made me laugh though, like the whole solitaire thing. "I can make it two player. Yes I can."

buuuuut besides that, the effect on Glooby's voice needs a bit of tweeking, unless you wanted the glitched sound. I think it's the grain size that needs adjusting, but I don't know what effect you were using, if it was VST....

I digress. Good work. I laughed. :D

HAHAHA

ooooh jeez that's funny. It reminds me of Family Guy. And like SirKillington said, that guy a couple reviews down don't know squat. The first thing you see when you go to NewGrounds is the slogan, "EVERYTHING BY EVERYONE." By saying this doesn't fit here, you're just making yourself look like a douche.

Noooow that I'm done venting, once again I have to say this is hilarious. The quality does get a little sketchy at some points, but it's not too terrible. Good work, as always.

It was good.

Then I heard the breakdown at around 2:45, and it became awesome. This has a great sound to it, and even though the chord progressions are really nothing special, the build after the break is really well done. The reason I took one start off is because the top synth doesn't fit the chord at 4:04, and every other time it's on that chord. It's just a matter of changing the notes. Other than that, great work.

Ir0nwoods responds:

Yeah, the chords were one of the reasons i took so long to finish haha. Thank you for your review :)

daaaaaang

this is seriously awesome. I didn't really think it would be, until that synth kicks in at about 10 seconds. Sounded awesome, and then when the drums start, it just goes full on fantastic. And it's not even halfway done yet. This would be perfect for a film score, it has tension, dynamic movement, and an almost nostalgic feel to it. I think with a little more mastering and equalizing, this would be just perfect. Great work.

keosni391 responds:

Wow thanks mate :D

cool. and awesome.

At first I didn't feel like reviewing it, but then as I kept listening, it just got catchier. haha. Very cool chord progression. The unique sound of the guitar and the percussion go very well together. The only thing missing now is some upbeaat lyrics. Great work.

kenecchi responds:

Thanks for listening, and thanks for the review!

Meh.
