Fun to listen to.

Very fun song. It definitely reminds me of computers and such. The vision I get for this one is some kind of a man being, well, computer generated, and trying to find his way out of the PC. Or maybe he's in a Mac. Who knows.

Good effects and melody. This would be good for some kind of intense, fast-paced puzzle game. Good work.

Murcielago1 responds:

Haha, thanks for the review. I'm very glad you enjoyed it.
Electro-house seems to be my main focus right now. Still practicing.
I'm glad you liked the sound effects - that's probably one of very few things that I'm proud of, haha.
Once again, thanks for your review =D

Very Nice. :D

My only problem with it is that when you add in that effect..... I don't know the techical term for it.... when it sounds like your turning the volume dial up and down to every beat? It would be fine if you didn't have it so pronounced, like if it didn't go so low. Just a little bit less, so it doesn't sound like it's totally going from something so smooth to something so electronic-sounding so quickly. You definitely need to make it longer though, and as for the repetitive synths, don't worry about that too much, just put in a bridge or something, it will be fine. :D Give it that extra "30%", and I'll download it. mV, (^.^) Bye for now.

Shoephly responds:

:D Thanks for the review, and yea, I was thinking a little bout that, personally i like it like that, but looking back at it, a slight change to make it a little smoother would do good.
The 30% won't be too far away, but right now I'm working on a similar song (smooth strings/choir/piano) but it''s gonna be totally different from this one though; stay tuned! :D
yet again, thanks a lot for the review! ;D

Pretty good.

Those are funny vocals. haha. :D

Good work, I like the bass line and the drums. For 8 hours of work this is really good. Then again, you never seem to fail at making songs. Nice job.

djInTheDark responds:

Thanx, I sure hope I didn't fail. :P Yeah I really liked the vocals also (guess thats why I used them heh...)

Thanx for the review!

Amazing

If you wrote out the music for this and had a professional orchestra do it, it would be pro movie quality. I think that's the only thing it really lacks, is the human touch of a real live orchestra and choir. But like others have said, excellent work, this is epic.

DavidOrr responds:

Well said- thanks for the review!

Very odd visual for this one.

For some reason, the visual I get for this song is a deserted island in the pacific, covered in snow. o.o

Anyway, very good work. Good chord structure, beat, melody, etc. etc...
It's just all good. ;)

nightsurfermusic responds:

THank you very much! Odd pictures are what I go for. ;)

Good work.

This seemed to capture my ear. I spent half the song trying to figure out what time it was in. 5/4, correct? Anyway, the piano makes me think of some kind of Oriental scene. This might be your first House song, but you obviously have enough experience making music. Very good, I'm downloading this.

Djevel responds:

Hehe, thanks :)

LMAO

This is hilarious. Great vocal work. Especially the end, it's so perfectly random.
"Do u like bingo? I like bingo." xD
Great song, you were right when u said it expressed your cheeziness. :)

Darren-M responds:

im pretty cheesy... not gonna lie

Nice work.

This is really smooth. It's a good slow, flowing house song, and I respect you as an artist just for this. I'd do vocals for you, but I have no recording equipment, nor am I anywhere near you (probably. It' a big country). And I'm not just saying that, either. I'm currently a bass in my school's top choir, and I went to Italy last spring to perform in a large professional choral group. Look up "The Birth of Christ" by Andrew T. Miller.

This will probably be deleted now for promoting another site/artist and bragging about myself. lol. Seriously though, this is a great song, keep making them and I'm sure you'll have a successful career in this field. If I could afford the programming, I'd be doing the same.

10'd and 5'd.

RAVEN responds:

Thank you so much for the review, RobinDB. I'm terribly sorry for missing this review and not commenting on it until half a year after you wrote it. I see no problem with a bit of self-promotion, and I have no intentions of having this deleted. Thank you for the comment and the support. I'm already interested in having vocals put to some of my music. I haven't been very productive lately, and I feel that if I work with someone on my own music it will inspire me to start working on music again. Thanks again for the review, and if you get your hands on a microphone and some audio/sound editing software, I'd be interested in a collaboration. Let me know. Take care! =)

Meh.

The melody gets annoying. Real quick. The chord progressions aren't very good at all. Besides that, you called it "hardcore" in the title. A song isn't hardcore just because it goes really really fast and the melody goes absolutely everywhere. The melody isn't really that catchy, it's just crazy. That doesn't make it very attractive.

I will say that the sound of it is good, and it's blended well. It's just that the melody and chord progressions are below my standards for a house song.

MegaWatt-Man responds:

I don't think you know what "Happy Hardcore" is. I recommend you listen to some before you make a review like this. Happy Hardcore is much more different to house. Its just newgrounds doesn't have that as a tagging option. Please know what you are talking about before you jump to your own conclusions.

In my honest opinion...

The original starts out slowly and gradually builds. What you did here was start off with a beat that made no sense to me, and didn't actually get to the song you were remixing until after the first minute. I say get rid of the intro and the little effects, and just basically make a synth pad version of Canon in D. I just don't think this remix does the song justice. Also, make it a bit slower. You have it at what, a little over 120 beats per minute? Make that about 100 beats per minute, it would be better.

Good work though. All that above is my own opinion I guess.

Denn-C responds:

Yeah it is haha, it's called HOUSE, not hiphop, the beat is an intro beat.. but this shit is out of date, so w/e..

thanks anyway:P

Meh.
