That build to the bass was sexy as hell. This is some sick stuff you got, I hope you can finish it soon. :D My only suggestion would be to give the kick drum just a little more punch in the intro, it just feels too soft. I can see though how you would want that for the dynamic change between the intro and the bass, but it's just a bit too soft. Anyway, great work.

Woah, this would make for an intense game, hahaha. Very nice work on keeping it mellow while maintaining a suspenseful atmosphere, like you never know what'll pop up next. I hope I see this in a shooter game soon, I can see it working very well for like an undercover scenario, or even an apocalyptic/zombie shooter. Very well done, and it loops really clean too. Great work. :D

When I hear this it's like I can't help smiling, it sounds so happy. :D This would no doubt be perfect for a platformer/adventure game. Very well written, catchy but subtle. Great work!

Hey, solid groove. :D When you say it was recorded live, you mean with a DJ setup, right? What exactly were you using? Anyway, this song is awesome, you've gotten loads better from your stuff I can remember from back in 2011. Great work.

durn responds:

Ah, no, sorry, I guess I worded that improperly, meant that it's just recorded straight-up without quantization. :) Thanks for the review, Robin, and thanks for noticing the improvements! :D

Sounds pretty awesome, 'cept for I can't really understand the lyrics all the time. The singing is fine, and the guitar sounds kick ass. I know you just did this for fun, but I think if you improved the mixing on the lyrics it would be a really awesome cover. Good work so far. :D

The song was already rockin, but when the Bill Nye section hits, every kid who went through public school in the 90's and early 00's can't help but get up and shout "BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL!" along with it. XD This is sick, great work man.

DJPlus responds:

thanks mate! the bill nye was a last minute maneuver, but turned out better better then expected! Thanks for the review!

Nice, easy listening. Your have a great voice, and the guitar is awesome too. Sometimes it's a little hard to make out what the lyrics are, but that will definitely improve with a better mic. The one you used is good, but certainly not the best. The chorus is pretty catchy, once this is recorded more professionally it'll be excellent. Keep workin on it. :D

Evark responds:

Yea, I think I needed to play with the mic more. I had the vocals AND guitar in cardioid, but I think I should've done the vocals in stereo. Thanks for listening!

Interesting sound, it puts the image in my head of some ninja doing all sorts of epic things and no one even sees him, haha. It's nice and simplistic with a solid beat. My only advice would be to build it into something bigger, and you could always do a bass drop, but that's up to you. It's pretty good so far, nice work.

Indigoflare responds:

Simplicity was my priority, but yes, I could've added some drops and whatnot. Thanks though, I really appreciate the feedback!

Everything is balanced together well. The different chords you used from the original were interesting, but pushed the limit just a bit when the lyrics hit that jazzy off note on the last line and the music doesn't really match up with it quite right. Other than that the piano sounded great, and the beat is solid. Good work, this is a quality remix.

ChimeraNoise responds:

Thanks a lot Robin! Appreciate it!

Awesome, but the auto-tuning on the vocals in the intro gets a little out of control. The trilling sound would be fine if it weren't so ridiculous, particularly on "and I'll show you a fantasy land." Anyway, the dubbing is sick and the lyrics are pretty funny. Good work so far.

Meh.
